Many of the magnificent performances at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts are presented or produced by one of our eight Resident Companies. Most of our Resident Companies are performing arts institutions with long and illustrious histories in this community, and most predate the opening of the Center. Resident Companies are allowed priority-booking status in the facility in advance of all other groups. These companies are also allowed a voting seat on the Center's Board of Directors. Any group that meets the established criteria can apply for Resident Company status.
Go to our Facility Rental Page for more information on or application for Resident Company status.
