Summary
As our Production Manager, your primary responsibility will be to work alongside and advise clients with technical and safety needs to ensure events at the Performing Arts Center are technically sound, correctly staffed, and properly executed. This position also works behind the scenes to ensure a safe and fully functioning facility is available for all users.
On a typical day, you may do the following:
Event Management
• Maintain client relationships and provide technical solutions with exceptional customer service to clients and users of the facility.
• Manage event inventory, notes, drawings, and schedule information within VenueOps (scheduling and booking software).
• Coordinate labor for clients with IASTE Local 918 Stagehands or other outside providers.
On Stage
• Represent ACPA as our brand, technical, and safety ambassador.
• Assist event Technical Directors, Stage Managers, or IATSE crews in accessing ACPA equipment and systems operation.
• Observe local crew for possible qualifications and check off opportunities.
• Troubleshoot and/or repair ACPA production equipment or systems as needed.
Off Stage
• Provide training opportunities for local crews on ACPA production systems and equipment.
• Maintain a professional work environment.
Other Duties
• Continuously assess and recommend equipment and systems for future use.
• Clean, paint, and organize all production spaces.
To thrive in this position, you should have a solid personal work ethic, exceptional customer service, communication and organizational skills, a clear understanding of technical theater and workplace safety with the confidence to enforce compliance, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, love providing clients and patrons with extraordinary experiences.

Our schedule varies according to the events currently in the PAC and differs week to week. Our operating hours range from 8 am to midnight typically, and sometimes beyond. Our regular shift is 8 hours.
