Amenities at the PAC

Make your experience even better with the PAC’s array of amenities, from our delicious theatre menu and Patron Lounge to our Accessible Services Program. The PAC team is committed to making your visit an enjoyable one! 

Food and Drink

Relax in our beautiful lobbies and visit with friends and family, all while overlooking Town Square Park or strolling through the Arctic Poppies (our beloved carpet!) Taking in the architecture of the PAC is never a disappointment. Enhance the experience by choosing from a delectable selection of wines, rotating light menu, and choice of beverages from our concessionaire. Cheers! Concessions are open one hour prior to curtain and during intermission of all Atwood Concert Hall, Discovery Theatre, and Sydney Laurence Theatre events.

Merchandise

Take a souvenir of your experience home with you! Many artists provide their own merchandise, including performance recordings for sale in the lobby of the venue. Availability varies from event to event. Check with CenterTix at 907-263-ARTS (2787) for the latest updates on your event.

Restrooms

Restrooms are available on every level* of the PAC, including street level of both lobbies.
*The balcony level of the Lorene Harrison Lobby serving the Atwood Concert Hall does not have a men’s room. Patrons can travel down to Mezzanine, Orchestra, or Street Level.

Patron Lounge

Elevate your experience! The Carr Family Patron Lounge is a special place for donors/members of the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts. You and your guests can enjoy a private coat check, beverages, and light snacks in a wonderfully inviting environment while you wait for the curtain to go up, both before the show and at intermission.

Coat Check

Coat check service is available and open one hour before, and immediately after, each event October 1 through May 1 for each of our theatres. There is a minimal fee of $2.

Locations:

  • Atwood Concert Hall Coat Check is on Street Level of the Lorene Harrison Lobby
  • Discovery Theatre Coat Check is on Orchestra Level at concessions of the Carr-Gottstein Lobby
  • Sydney Laurence Theatre Coat Check is on Orchestra Level on the far right of the Anchorage Daily News Lobby

Lost and Found

Our staff diligently looks for lost items after each and every performance. If you’ve lost something in the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts, venue staff is ready to assist. Call our main number at 907-263-2900 and provide as much information as you can: i.e. event date, time, and seating area. Our team will check all found items first and then search the theatre for all lost items.

Accessibility

The Alaska Center has an Accessible Services Program to better serve patrons who experience disabilities and individuals with special needs. It is our goal to provide a fully enjoyable experience for all patrons, from ordering tickets to experiencing the show. We are here to help!

First Aid

The PAC staff has been trained to assist during a variety of emergencies. Please bring all emergency situations to the attention of staff as soon as possible. In the case of needing first aid, contact the nearest usher or venue representative. Ushers are dressed in white shirts/tops and black pants/skirts, wearing an “Ushering in the Arts” nametag.
